Alphabetisation for young women in Bangladesh
Despite compulsory schooling, Bangladesh rates very low in international comparison in regard to education. The illiteracy rate is high. In these alphabetisation courses, women and young girls are taught to read, write simple letters and to solve easy mathematical sums. At the same time, such themes as early marriage, HIV/Aids, sexual and reproductive rights are discussed. With CHF 260.- you can make it possible for eight women to complete a six month alphabetisation course.
CHF 260.- / for the project Health and Local Development.
