YMCA Europe has its own voluntary program called „Volunteers for Europe“ which functions in the form of an exchange. It offers interesting possibilities to get to know YMCA projects in other parts of Europe – be it as a volunteer (VfE) or as a professional (PfE).

Information
YMCA USA - YMCA International Camp Counselor Program (ICCP)
The summer service as leader in a YMCA camp in the USA aims to make the camps international and to further intercultural understanding. There are one- and two-day camps as well as camps for the physically or intellectually handicapped and for the underprivileged.
Duration
Minimum of 10 weeks in summer
Requirements
- 19 - 30 years of age
- Good knowledge of English
- Experience in working with children and leadership qualities
We offer
- Accommodation, food and pocket money
- We pay a share of the travel costs
- Volunteer must pay placement and administration costs of CHF 400.-
