2-hours runs a success story
This fall Horyzon was supported by the three charity-runs in Grabs, Olten and Hinterthurgau. More than 500 runners collected a total of 103'000 Swiss Francs. The record attendence with 357 participants was one of the highlights at the 2-hours run in Olten which took place for teh 24th time.
Two thirds of the donation amount, that's around 68'000 Swiss Francs, are dedicated to the projects "Development Program for Health and Quarters in Bangladesh" and "Reintegration of youths in Palestine" by Horyzon. Horyzon's thank goes to all runners, organizers and volunteers for their great support. All results and further information concerning the projects you can find here...

Human rights observer in Palestine
Theo Buss, a former member of the YMCA, currently provides a three-months assignement to the Ecumenical Accompaniment Programme in Palestine and Israel (EAAPI). He lives with four other volunteers (Germans and Scandinavians) in a house in East Jerusalem. The team maintains a presence at checkpoints where Palestinians are checked on the way to work, accompanies children to school or supports Palestinian and Israeli peace initiatives in non-violent actions. During his stay he also visites the East Jerusalem YMCA’s „Reintegration of youths“ program supported by Horyzon. Please find attached Theo's personal impressions and experiences (in french). In an exciting and impressive manner they point to the conflict-ridden life in and around Jerusalem.
