Certification enables us to achieve these goals:

  • The beneficiaries and partners in southern and eastern parts of the world profit from professional assistance. This optimises long-term effects (sustainability, outcomes).
  • Financial resources are used effectively because of efficient administrative procedures and infrastructure.
  • Acceptance and reputation in regard to benefactors and government have been improved – fundraising is efficient.
  • The environment is better protected due to an ecologically favourable mindset and saved resources.
  • Horyzon has been changed from an organisation to a foundation to match increasing international requirements.

Horyzon is one of the most advanced aid organisations in Switzerland and, as an internationally recognised organisation,  is well prepared for future demands and requirements. Horyzon uses external supervisors for these processes and following audits.
