Solidarität mit der Ukraine

It is with great dismay that Horyzon follows the events in Ukraine. We are deeply shocked by this act of aggression that is affecting many innocent lives and stand in solidarity with all the people suffering from this war.

We firmly believe that violence and war can never be the solution to any conflict and still hope for a diplomatic solution that will allow the armed conflict to end as soon as possible.

The Russian invasion of Ukraine is a blatant violation of the United Nations Charter and violates international law and human rights. Within a very short period of time, Russia has triggered a massive humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, leading to mass exodus.

In this regard, out of solidarity with the YMCA/YWCA movements in Ukraine as well as neighboring countries that are hosting Ukrainian refugees, we would like to draw your attention to the following donation options:
